"The Realms of Dark Shadows" - Anybody remember or know anything about it?

Hi Everybody,

Does anybody remember "Dark Shadows"? I know it has been up and down a
couple times the past 8 years or so.

My character use to be "Ssnatas"...I was a long time regular in the
early/mid 90's. Just wondering if anybody else around here remembers
it or has heard anything about it.

That had to be the best mud ever. I have been feeling nostalgic lately
and got to thinking about it.

I remember that mud quite well. I had my fair share of characters on it,
namely Glory.

A few old players are still lurking around, I run into them everynow and
again.

I talked briefly with the two admins of DS (nightie and dashadow) a year or
so ago. Neither was really interested in restarting it, though they still
have all the code and playerfiles. So... it may re-emerge sometime in the
future...

Maybe under different management?

I remember this place very well too. I use to have a couple of characters
there. Doul and Daris they ones I used the most. I would actually like to
get in contact with dashadow or nightie if anyone knows how. I do remember
the character Glory

Funny thing... I just compiled DSD about 10 minutes ago. Had the
intention of putting it back online, but figured that no one would be
interested in playing. Looks like I was wrong. I need to at least make
an effort to contact DS and see if he minds, but I bet he will be ok
with it. I'll post the host/port here when it is up (a couple days).
